In this season of gratitude, on behalf of the EVA Air staff, I wish every
mother a Happy Mother’s Day!
This month, we are proud to share with you the great news that, in
Business Traveller’s recent 2015 Cellars in the Sky awards, EVA Air won
gold medals for best business-class cellar and best business-class red, as
well as a silver medal for best business-class sparkling wine. Every year,
EVA Air’s wine consultants conduct blind taste tests of over 200 appella-
tions and take into consideration reviews from the general public before
selecting the wines that will be served inflight for the coming 12 months.
The 2016 wine selection will be available in June.
In March, EVA Air launched Taipei-Istanbul and Taipei-Cebu service. We
plan to begin operating flights to Chicago before the end of the year, fur-
ther strengthening our network and offering greater variety and conve-
nience on North American routes.
