Since the launch of EVA Air’s “I See
You ” marketing campaign in 2013,
travelers worldwide have come to
k n ow o f t h e n a t u r a l b e a u t y o f
Chishang, a rural Community in
Taiwan’s Taitung County. To continue
the campaign, EVA Air teamed up with
Taitung County Government and
contemporary artist Yang Mao-lin to
create a work of installation art at the
site of the tree depicted in the video.
The sculpture was unveiled in a
ceremony on June 21.

Yang’s work for Chishang, Serenity and
Muse, is a poetic dialogue between art
and nature, the bronze sculpture features
Peter Pan, deep in thought as he sits next
to a teapot on a Ming-style tall stool.
Nearby, a bench invites travelers to
sit and relax before beginning the
next stage of their journey.
