On the chilly winter evening of December
17, 2015, the atmosphere in the Taipei
International Convention Center auditorium
was warm, bright, and joyous. Infinity
MileageLands diamond card members and
other distinguished guests were invited to
enjoy an evening of wonderful music
performed by Evergreen Symphony
Orchestra (ESO) and famous pop signers
Ricky Hsiao, Jeff Chang, andWan Fang.
The concert opened with ESO’s rendition
of “Triumphal March fromAida,” followed by
acclaimed Mandarin/Taiwanese Singer-
Songwriter Ricky Hsiao’s performance of
“Thank You Love Me,” “Nice Guy,”
“Grandma Words,” and “You’re My Eyes.”
The deeply touched audience sang along
with Hsiao as tears rolled down their
cheeks. Next up on stage was Jeff Chang,
who brought the audience back in time with
“Want to Love You” and “It Is Hard to Resist
Your Face.” Chang’s “Destined to Love You”
perfectly expressed the new generation’s idea
of love and romance. Closing the first half of
the concert was ESO’s dreamy interpretation
of “Champane Galop for Orchestra.” The
second half of the concert opened with the
buoyant and sprightly “Éljen á Magyar! Polka
schnell Op.332,” followed by violinist Wei-Pin
Kuo’s performance of Western pop classics,
including “Top of the World”. The audience
was spellbound by the lovely music. Singer/

of her hit songs, including “Half Sleeve,” “The
First Day of Michelle,” and “Endless love.” The
timeless classics brought everyone back to
their younger days andmade them feel warm
at heart. The ESO wrapped up the concert
with the uplifting and energetic “Pomp and
Circumstance March No.1.” The encores,
“Peach Blossom Takes the Ferry” and
“Mountain Dances” brought the concert to
a perfect conclusion.
