each spokesperson and affiliated airline.
To find the ideal spokesperson, EVA Air
sifted through its frequent flyer list and
spotted Fang-Yi Sheu. Born in Yilan,
Taiwan, the acclaimed contemporary
dancer is a former principal of the Martha
Graham Dance Company and has been
praised as the finest present-day
embodiment of Martha Graham’ s
technique and tradition.
Having collaborated with numerous
international artists, Sheu perfectly
represents Taiwan on the global stage.
For the past 20 years, EVAAir has flown
Sheu, a Gold Card member, to various
destinations as she worked to make her
dreams come true. Star Alliance was
also impressed by Sheu’ s artistic
accomplishments.
Upon being contacted by EVA Air and
Star Alliance, Sheu immediately agreed
to the endorsement project. EVA Air/Star
Alliance and Sheu are both passionate
about promoting Taiwan internationally,
so their goals were well aligned. Sheu
created the choreography and selected
the music for the promotional video.
Her professionalism amazed the director
and camera crew of Atomic London, the
British production team that Star Alliance
commissioned to film the campaign.
EVA Air/Star Alliance’ s campaign
contribution can be seen aboard EVAAir
flights and in VIP lounges, on EVA Air’s
and Star Alliance’s respective websites,
and on various social networking
channels.
Taiwanese dancer Fang-Yi Sheu, recently appointed as EVA Air/Star Alliance’s spokesperson,
receives an EVA Air/Star Alliance liveried aircraft model from Evergreen Group Public Relations
Executive Officer K.W. Nieh.
