Located in Tirol, in the Oetz Valley, the
remote, cable-suspended Tiefenbachkogel
catwalk is easily accessible by gondola
from Soelden village. The 20m steel-and-
glass footbridge towers above a giant
glacier snout and affords unforgettable
views that include the Ötztal Alps and the
3,766m Wildspitze, Tirol’s highest
mountain.
The OCBC Skyway at Supertree Grove
(gardensbythebay.com.sg) is an aerial
steel walkway suspended from two
“Supertrees” that form part of a vertical
garden in the heart of the Gardens by the
Bay shopping complex. The 128m-long
skyway is 22m above ground, providing
panoramic views of Supertree Grove, the
surrounding Marina Bay area, and the
Singapore skyline. A nightly light and
sound show enhances the experience.
Austria’s Tiefenbachkogel footbridge is located
at a gondola station at an altitude of 3,000m.

Visitors to SkyPoint Climb (skypoint.com.au) are whisked from
ground level to the 77th-floor observation deck in 42.7 seconds,
where the real adventure begins — a climb to the summit of the
iconic 322.5m-high Q1 Building in Queensland, the 25th tallest
building in the world. The exhilarating SkyPoint Climb begins by
entering a fully enclosed glass airlock, the gateway to the outside
of the residential building. A short climb up a ladder puts
climbers 240m above street level. It is from here, harnessed to a
rail system, that thrill seekers climb 298 stairs up the building’s
massive 97.7m spire to admire views of the Gold Coast’s
beaches, city skyline, and lush hinterland.
