battleships of World War II. In the spring of 1941, a shell from the
battleship struck and destroyed the cruiser
HMS Hood
, the pride of the
British Royal Navy. Scale models of
Bismarck
and other famous World
War II battleships are on display at the Evergreen Maritime Museum.
