Situated on New Zealand’s northern Coromandel Peninsula, the
natural bridge at Cathedral Cove covers a deep, cavernous archway
that leads out onto a gorgeous, sandy beach. The feature is
stunning from all angles, but the best views are to be had from
within the cave. From there, the walls of yellow rock perfectly
frame the outside world.
It’s possible to arrive at the cove by boat, but many visitors
prefer to walk along the top of the cliff before making their way
down to the bay below. The beach is an amazing place to sit or
sunbathe, and the clear, turquoise waters are perfect for snorkeling
and diving.

Natural Bridge in Canada’s Yoho National Park is much smaller
than the other natural arches on this list, but it’s still an amazing
example of the power of nature. Long ago, the powerful Kicking
Horse River bored a path through the sedimentary rock that
obstructs its flow, and the water now thunders through the gap it
created.
The park is a great destination for hikers and cyclists and
home to a variety of wild animals, including timber wolves and
moose.
