Hampton Court Palace is one of Britain’s most impressive stately
homes, and its grounds are absolutely stunning. From the
symmetrical designs of the Privy Garden to the contemporary
landscaping of the Twentieth Century Garden, the palace offers a
journey through horticultural history. There are over 60 acres of
gardens in total, and they’re decorated with around 200,000
flowering bulbs. Visitors can also enjoy the famous Hampton
Court Maze and Home Park, a 750-acre enclosure containing
woodland and deer with stunning views of the palace.
From July 5–10 this year, the Royal Horticultural Society
will hold its annual flower show at the palace. Highlights include
sculpted gardens, a butterfly dome, and family activities.
