Along with the Ban Gioc Waterfall, Detian spans the border
between China and Vietnam and is one of the most beautiful
waterfalls in Asia. It’s not especially tall or wide, but during the
rainy months (June through November), the Guichun River
swells to form a single, thundering waterfall.
What makes the site especially interesting are the
surrounding karst hills. Years of erosion have stripped back the
limestone, forming vertiginous peaks that visitors can explore as
they wander through the Detian Scenic Zone.
Surrounded by a surreal karst landscape, Detian Falls lies on the border of
Mainland China and Vietnam.
