Iceland is a place like no other with vast, open, and
almost entirely unadulterated landscapes. The land around
Seljalandsfoss is completely exposed without a tree in
sight. The water falls over a 60m cliff, which is said to be
the edge of the country’s former coastline.
There are several waterfalls in the area, but the main
draw of Seljalandsfoss is that there’s a deep cavern at the
rear, meaning you can walk behind its wall of water and
enjoy the falls from every angle.
