Located along the mountain backbone extending from Alaska

Nations as “spirit waters.” The dozen springs, rich in minerals
and salts, have been revered through the ages for their healing
and purifying properties. Stop by the “caves” at Ainsworth Hot
Springs (ainsworthhotsprings.com ), which were dug by silver
miners in 1906, and Nakusp, where visitors savor local cuisine and
indulge in a soak after a day of hiking in summer or skiing in
winter.
